I saw the movie three times in theaters, once of which was imax. If you didn't catch it in imax the first time around, definitely do so with the re
release. It takes the experience to a whole different level.

You're a fag, and I think this movie is way over hyped/rated.

I finally watched it tonight. It was the best superhero genre movie I have ever seen, but it is not even close to one of my favorites. It was too cheesy at
certain times. The effects were great, Ledger was great, the makeup was awesome. The script was just a little too predictable and corny for me.

I think Shawshank, Godfather, Fight Club, and City God are my favorites.
It was predictable in the sense that I knew most of the movie would be the Joker coming up with tough decisions for Batman and the police to make, and I knew that the Joker would lose some crazy final battle then Two-Face would too. That seems to sum up most of the second half of the movie. It also bothered me that when they captured the Joker, a man that they knew had killed many people (many of which were politically important), they didn't take more precautionary measures to keep him in custody. Taking his cuffs off during questioning = dumbest thing written into the script. More than anything I'm playing a bit of devil's advocate because the movie was very good. It just wasn't as amazing as all you guys and all my friends had talked it up to be. |

I think that if you saw it in theaters when it first came out you'd think differently.

Not necessarily. Some of the ingredients in this movie are typical of the superhero genre. You basically go into it knowing that a few things are almost
certain to happen. Nothing really shocked me or threw a twist into the story.

When it is rereleased soon, go see it at IMAX. It will totally blow you away.
