thanks for the heads up. i watched manchester utd/wigan last saturday morning and i'm debating on whether or not to get up early tomorrow to catch Chelsea/Burnley. didnt know if it was a coincidence that ESPN 2 was showing both games or something that's planned for the long term.

Man Utd game was exciting if you're a man utd fan. 0-0 at the half, and MU comes out and puts in 5 during the 2nd half. i turned it off in the 89th minute when it was 4-0, and Nani scored on a free kick in stoppage. Plus Valencia out on the wing played well too. plus Owen getting his goal was the monkey off his back even though it's still early in the season. Nani fed him perfectly, even pointing to exactly where he wanted Owen to go and owen one-touched it in off the far post.

watched the entire Man Utd/Arsenal game this weekend and i have to say i can believe United won that game. For the majority of the game, Arsenal was controlling the pace and United couldnt get anything going. Then when Almunia took down Rooney in the box, which was a legitimate call, and then Rooney scored from the spot, that just took all the wind out of the Gunners' sail.

Then that own goal was horrible by Diaby. He was trying to head it backwards out of bounds and he put it right in the top corner. goalie had no chance. Arshavin's goal was ridiculous. He was the best player on the field. He gave Van Persie a perfect pass inside the 6, but Van Persie shot it right at Ben Foster. United definitely got lucky, but i'll take it.

and the whole Wenger scene and getting sent off was way over the top, for which the refs are to blame. there was less than a minute of stoppage left.
