Gonna be tough for anyone to beat the Lakers this year. But you are an idiot if you think New York is where he will go.

Nealry every Cavs fan who have convinced themselves that Shaq will be more of a positive than a negative will have changed their mind by early January and blaming the failures of this season on him by late March. Yeah, the Hawks are clearly a better team than Cleveland, Orlando and Boston. They really showed me a lot in the playoffs last year. Shaq: he'll be fine once the offense settles in. They have a new center, new #2, and Andy is now a starting PF instead of a bench C/PF. They have shown all preseason and last night that they aren't even close to having the cohesiveness they had last year. Once that clicks, they'll be in better shape for the playoffs. You could take Shaq off the team and they'd still have more talent than they had last year. Everyone in the world except for the Suns knew Shaq was a horrendous fit for them. He'll do better playing a role in Cleveland. |

Cleveland is full of losers. they're not going to be any closer to winning anything with Shaq than they were with the losers they had the last few years.

what i love best about the cavs is that even when failhio has a great team/players they manage to turn it into a disaster [see ohio st]. i look forward to the
2 indians starting gm 1 tonight.

Cavs - Knicks at MSG tonight. This will be his only trip to the Garden this year, unless of course the two teams meet in the playoffs...

why lol the cavs? last night is exactly the reason he won't go to new york. the cavs starters outscored the knicks starters by a staggering statistic (+30
or something). knicks only made is "close" in the 4th quarter bc cavs were playing 2nd and 3rd stringers.
even with lebron, the knicks wouldn't be close to contenders. lebron wants a ring. if he leaves for any team, it would be the lakers. they'd be willing to dump kobe (who's old but still valuable to other teams) or another big money starter to clear money for lebron |

lebron wants money. and if the knicks can give out two maximum contracts to say lebron and either chris bosh or d-wade then i'd imagine that he'd
leave. New York is also New York and the Garden is the Garden no other team can say they have both those things

cavs can offer lebron more money than any team. also, lebron said after the knicks game that "i'm not concerned with a maximum contract at this point
in my career". the guy wants go where he can win. the knicks are a shithole team right now with no clear sign that will be improving.
cavs have ability to sign another max contract player. lakers would dish kobe for lebron. both of those teams are about 10x more likely to sign lebron than the knicks are. i'm sorry, but you have no shot with regards to new york being new york - wtf does that mean? if lebron wanted to, he could live in NYC and play on any team in the country. the reality is, he's stated numerous times that he'll live in his cleveland mansion no matter where he plays. he's got his entire network of friends and family (did you forget he has 2 kids?) and said he has no desire to leave his home |

The knicks are not the fucking yankees. In fact, the knicks are more like the kansas city royals of the NBA. Or, although it pains me to say it, the Cleveland
Indians.
