As for the not shaking hands the NHL is the only major league where players shake hands with each player on the other team, MLB, NBA, and NFL players don't always do it.

Do you understand that just about every "posterizing" dunk, the defender in the picture was not gaurding the guy who dunked the ball right? Because for a truely "posterizing" dunk, one usually needs to get a good forward speed and "lift off." But thats not the point.

Neither is the point that Lebron got dunked on. Hell everybody gets dunk on in some point of their career in the NBA. Didn't Lebron get dunked on in the Eastern Conference finals a few times? And yes I know that is not an original statement. No one is critizing Lebron for being dunked over by a college student. Sure there is some ribbing, but thats because thats what guys do to each other. God does that sound gay.

The point is Lebron and Nike being asshats for trying (and actually doing) to control the tapes made of the event. Thats bush league, IMO. Taping was allowed all day at the camp and there was nothing in the media agreements that said taping was not allowed. Depending on whose story you like to believe (either Nike's that it was an after hours pick up game or the videographer that it was a regular scheduled event of the camp), you can say either way Nike was or wasn't right. Personally, I am believing the little man who gains no exposure what so ever if the tape of Lebron getting dunked on made it into the public realm. Nike and Lebron however potentially (but in all actuallity not really at all) have image to lose if the tape got out. Its just so happens the story is creating a bigger PR mess for both than just letting the tape get into the public hands would have been. (and for the record, I did a seach on ESPN, Kraut, and didn't see one story that refutted any of the evidence suggested in the original article. I have a shitty internet connection right now, so I may have missed it, but the only true news story (read not collumn) on ESPN.com basically just rehashed the CBSsprotsline.com article).

And no only the NHL has a formal , hand shaking deal after the game/series. But after every football game, both benches empty onto the field and shake hands. Every basketball team's bench gets up and shake hands. The only sport that you really never see this in is baseball, but it is a completely different element than other games. Other games you are on the field competing against your opposition. In baseball, you hit a ball with a bat and run the bases. Except for conversations you have on the base paths or making a hard slide (bowling over the catcher) you are never in direct physical contact with your opponent. There is a big difference mentally about it.
