Carter's contract is terrible. I'm not sure how much of a net benefit there is too the magic in this deal. If Turkoglu leaves, Carter will be a good
replacement but I'm not sure if it makes them that much better of a team. If Turkoglu stays, this gives them some nice depth. It's going to be really
interesting to see how Carter fits in on a finals contender.
Cavs still have problems in the front court. They essentially swapped Wallace for Shaq but they don't have a PF besides Andy. Hickson could be really good if he could get his head in the game. Not sure if he's going to be there this year. |

I think the Cavs picked a guy with a low risk high reward potential. IMO, they didnt think they could find anyone that could contribute right away and they
didnt want to pay money for em'. So they picked up a freak athlete with a huge upside. We will see in a couple years if the pick works out but I don't
think there was anybody the cavs could have gotten that could have made an impact.
