My buddy sent me an invite to warfish.net. Basically it's Risk played online. Makes for a decent way to help pass the time at work. Anyone interested in playing a Gangs of New York version of the game leave your e-mail here or PM me. I guess right now the website is joinable by invite only.

i have Lord of the Rings risk at home. I think it's still in the wrapper b/c nobody will play with me. my ex lady used to play Lord of the Rings chess with
me. she would whoop my ass though. (she taught me how to play though, so i'm sure she taught me how to lose only)
she would get pissed when her Queen would be Arwen and she would take my queen (who was The Witch King of Angmar) and I'd call BS. No way does Arwen EVER win that battle. Witch King would murder her like nothing. after a brief argument, i would just say "let's go to the tape" - thusly proposing we watch all 3 films for research and then she would give in and say I was right and let me win. silly girl. so technically i'm about 3-0 at Lord of the Rings chess and I challenge anyone. |

I played Risk a ton when I was younger. I haven't played in some time. I think my bro has played some online. And my dad is a big fan of the game as well.

The Ukraine is weak! (damn - tried to post while doing real work here and got beat in the 5 minutes it took me to post this)
We had some late night Risk games going in college - def. fun with beer. I have a friend that I swear knew how to cheat rolling the dice somehow. |
