bonnaroo > lolla?
what exactly makes a bunch of smelly hippies running around on acid better than grant park? the only thing that doesn't make sense with that pearl jam rumor is that bonnaroo is in the south and pearl jam doesn't play in the south. |

yes bonnaroo is much better. and bigger. lolla is really crappy as far as atmosphere, logical setup and management, crowd, scheduling and cost. pretty much all
they have going is it's close to me and lineup. but bonnaroo prolly has more and better bands i want to see each year than lolla.
so yeah as said before def not debatable. get your head out of your ass |

wtf happened to my post on this?
You don't have to pay 1000 bucks to spend the night in the city to see said acts. You can come and go as you please. Better lineup. More drugs. Do I need to go on? |

I'm going to try to do ACL this year, as my one festival.

Kraut -
If Karen's out, I'm in for the RV. No grabbing my ass this time. I have 280 vacation hours, so I'll have some to burn ...if someone offers you a life, take it... |

nice. i was thinking about getting one from a local spot - it's a little cheaper than cruise america, and they include some generator usage each day
(though, i wouldn't be nearly as cheap about it this time). probably be like 2k, but could sleep 8 (there are cheaper versions still)

What's even better is we're all 5+ years employee now too. 2k/8 is only 250 each, and it would save on hotel nights as well.
I'd just have to find a way to Cleveland I guess. ...if someone offers you a life, take it... |

yeah, even at 6 people it's still 330 plus gas (probably another 50-75 each). definitely not as cheap as camping, but much better accommodations

Especially if we can actually get the AC working this time. We'd get to roll with MWP more too.

I'd be in if there is an RV, and room for me.
Angel, I too am hoping to get to Austin City Limits this coming year. I tell myself that every year though. |

hmm so that's 4 for an RV already (if karen doesn't go). maybe i'll just reserve one when the dates are announced and hope to fill it up. the place
i was looking at has cancellation insurance for like $50, so i'd do that in case

Who is 4? Suellen?
Who else is from the North? Pat? Think we can get Tim to go? ...if someone offers you a life, take it... |

Jay, I'll split the cancellation insurance with you as that sounds like the best idea.

yeah, suz is 4th. she hated the first day of last year, but ended up liking it. i think it was the day we stayed at camp and didn't see any shows that
swayed her. drinking beers all day can do that to anyone!
oh, and the ganja hot dogs may have helped |

I'll bet Hafling would be in. If anyone wants, we can drive from Chicago to Cleveland and catch the RV there.
(I'd prefer to fly though) |

Oh, and having AC was huge. I love the outdoors and could've easily camped, but having a home-base at the RV was awesome. |
