Yeah, that ending was not good. Kim needs to die already...she is not a good actress and she only serves as leverage for Jack to have to break the rules.
Tony's scene before he got shot at the end was good though.

the whole scene with kim in the airport with the terrorists was just retarded. Once they had Jack and Tony back there was no reason for them to be there. They
could have just walked away. Instead they start a shootout in the middle of an airport. Probably one of the worst possible places to do that. It really made
no sense. and of course that allowed everything else to happen. I know its not supposed to be realistic, but this was a stretch even for 24.

In reality, are you serious about a knife getting past airport security? Airport security is still quite terrible. Just google "gun past airport
security", you will see it happens more frequently than liked, and you also may end up on a list somewhere.
As far as 24 goes, I am very happy with the ending. It's been a great season, and I didn't want some lame ass 30 minute experimental surgery that saved Jack's life to ruin it. Spend 10 minutes explaining the BS at the beginning of next season, move on and quickly forget. Tony's got the best thing happening, he's a good guy/bad guy on personal vengeance and it's great. The dude is badass. I just want to know if Walker did anything to Wilson(?) at the end. I'd be all for Kim being killed off next season, with the grand daughter being the leverage against Jack. I only hope that when this series ends they kill Jack off, I don't want some Sopranos did they or didn't they, and I don't want Jack smiling watching his grand daughter graduate. And it better not be all a dream. A Resevoir Dogs type ending would be great. |

well considering it's been rumored that next year is the last TV season then they plan on making a movie, I don't think anything too severe will happen
at the end of next season

ksc218 wrote: http://en.wikipedia.org/w...(TV_series)#Feature_film A feature film adaptation of 24 was originally planned to be shot during the hiatus between the sixth and seventh seasons. Series creators Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran planned to write the script with showrunner Howard Gordon working on story. Filming was to take place in London, Prague, and Morocco. Jon Cassar revealed in an interview "I think the idea is to do an hour of it that sets it up where you can go around the world and set up a story in normal film time, and probably the last hour will be in real time - something like that." Plans for the movie were later put on hold. Kiefer Sutherland stated, "It's impossible to ask writers to work on the show and then come up with an amazing film we can shoot in the break between series." Executive Producer Howard Gordon says on the future-film, "My hope is to go [shoot the feature film] after the eighth season. That's sort of what we're aiming for. I think that a big-screen 24 will be a fitting send off for Jack." It is now thought that a film would be made after the eighth season, and that filming could still take place outside of the USA, with Germany thought to be the location.

I had heard that Kiefer wanted to make the movie a prequel and have all the original characters back...Nina, Palmer, Tony, etc.
