Question. (It's in third person because Melissa is pissed the fuck off)


So Melissa brought the MINI into service this morning because the AC was blowing hot air. Melissa calls dealer this afternoon because she thinks she should have heard something by now. Dealer asks if Melissa has had any body work done to the car. Melissa says no. Melissa is a good driver. Dealer says well thats interesting, because your condenser looks like a crushed tin can and you have a refrigerant leak coming out of the effected area. Warranty will not cover it because it is a result of physical damage. Supposedly, a new condenser (from them) is $1100. Not including labor, etc. Melissa becomes irate. Melissa thinks that the dealer who she bought the used car from should have to pay for this because Melissa didn't cause any damage to the car, the retarded original owner did. (whom also didn't' have the oil changed until 16,000 miles, had a kid who scratched the crap out of the backseat, and left a cigarette battle wound in the upholstery.)


Does Melissa have any chance in hell of getting some of the work done to her car covered by the dealer where she bought the car?

(Melissa used to work in new car sales. She knows jack about pre-owned.)

I bought it a year ago.
I'm so pissed I could spit. I'm not going to do any more work today. I'm going to go eat ice cream from a chain restaurant, and down a twelve pack. fml.
