Just so everyone knows what they're getting themselves into, if we do this.

It's $14.99 for your first season on whatifsports. (for most of you, that would be the first season of our dynasty). Every season after that that you decide to do is $24.99. So this costs money.

A season lasts roughly 3 months, from the offseason (contracts, arbitration, free agency), through spring training, to the regular season (3 games a day), up through the World Series.

Counting me, we might be at 9 franchises right now. We can always open it up to the public to fill it out, but I'd like to get a solid 20 franchises booked of people we know, people who are committed.

I might have a few buddies who would be interested in doing this.

This is completely different than fantasy baseball. It doesn't even have any real MLB players. It's all fake. Creating your own team. Managing your own roster, including 5 levels of minor league ball.

It's 100% completely overwhelming. But I'm starting to get the hang of it, I think (now that I'm not overreacting and calling some AA stud up to the bigs too early and ruining his career). It's addicting.

edit- it just may be a relationship killer, though... the old lady doesn't enjoy the fact that I think about my stud LF in Low-A more than I think about her

Yes, you can always try to join a league in offseason, there are always managers who quit.

I'm going to organize one. May take a few days, b/w work, valentines day, and my cousins wedding on friday, I'm swamped this week. But by this time next week, it'll be open for registration, at the very least.

Until then, lets see how many people we can actually get interested.
