Posts: 2115 01/28/2012 1:45 AM Has Friends Off The Internet	glad to see they cleaned up their hair-dos and left the grunge wardrobe at home. sadly the sets dont have much hype to them yet. kind of glad this was sold out before i wasted money on a ticket for an over packed HOB and mediocre set. wish these guys would bring some excitement back into it like some of those summer shows (earthward, toy store, poetry) minus the entire album being played. this is their job, their career... they should know every word to ever song they play and be able to change things up regularly... thats the biggest thing i have been upset about lately.

And don't get me wrong I would love to hear all wrong songs, but how many people there know those songs? If they played What Are The Odds or RATTTTOTWT or even Ladanday, it would go wasted. How many people would be pumped for that? The sets will pick up when they go to places with a better fan base and as they do extended stay. Posts: 2116 01/29/2012 4:26 PM Has Friends Off The Internet	hold on true is not that rare give me something would have been played anyway, request or not, obviously. their songs are not difficult songs at all! lyrically and musically... if they want to be considered and treated as 'professionals' at what they do... they need to open up the library a bit more.. and maybe they will be able to sell out a few more house of blues.

I beg to differ, since 2007 it only gets played at most three times a year. That's a rarity if you ask me. I disagree with larger song catalog equaling being considered more professional. Plenty of bands use the same set list night after night and they are still considered professionals. Just be glad the band still does rotate quite a few songs into shows, and realize they have to cater to many different types of fans, from people coming to hear Shattered and L&M, to hardcore fans who have followed the band for many years. The band is doing the best they can to please the crowd, just accept it.

I understand that your point is that they wouldn't just include things like this without special motivation, but it's still kind of a silly argument in my opinion. -Rob

There's a new fan base now- and they have to play a majority of their favorites to keep people happy. It's just how it is, take it or leave it. Like others have said, most other bands will play identical setlists from night to night... However, for the die-hard fans, that's what "Extended Stay" is for. Rest assured these guys will be digging into their catalog and playing almost completely different songs every night.
