Is there anything out there that would allow me to take a schedule and have it downloaded directly into the calendar on my iphone?
For example if I would go to a team's web site, is there any way to sync their schedule and put it into my iphone? |

my travel agency uses one that takes my itinerary and puts it on my calendar, but that's the only implementation i've seen. again, you'd have to
get sites to use a common data format to get this to work. or, you'd have to build converters from several different types of calendar systems. it may be a
bit easier for MLB, since all the sites use the same platform, but concert schedules, etc. would be an effing mess

Well, it isn't out yet on their website. Try checking back in a couple weeks when the Wild IT guys create the file. It is just too early right now. What you would do (assuming you use outlook), is: go to Wild homepage, click on schedule, then click on downloadable schedule to Outlook. Then follow the steps to import it to your calendar on your computer. Then it will sync OTA (over the air) to your cell. iCalendar is the most "standard" format for calendar data. You can import iCalendar files (or URL's) directly into iCal and it syncs to the
iPhone.

damn, your company allows you to sync your calendar with google? seems like a pretty big security hole
we can't even install google desktop search even though it's, by far, a superior search tool vs. what we use (x1) |
