I might be going to a couple shows out east this summer and after the Chicago shows, I was just wondering, which venues have been the worst for you? Any
place in particular that if I go I shouldn't even bother trying to get up front because I will just get pushed around, shoved into the rail excessively or
be around fights? I know I am being debby downer, but I would rather enjoy a show than try to fight to keep my spot that I got by being there early.
Don't bother trying for the front (unless you are with a bunch of people) at:
1. Summerfest (but that is too be expected)
2. Charter One Pavillion
Charter One security was terrible. Two fights broke out by me on Friday night and even after pointing them out to security and then them flashing lights on the
two guys in the fight (both times were the same people), they still didn't do anything. Also, every year there are dozens of people that push and shove
their way through to get to the front half way through the show. I hate it, and always end up moving back so I don't have to deal with it. Summerfest you
have to expect that for the pirce of the ticket, but one year this kid decided to play the drums on everyone's head in front of him and all security did
was grab him and send him away from the front, 10 minutes later he was back doing the same thing.
