Great set and they really appreciated everyone staying there though the rain, the only part that wasnt fun, for me atleast, was the group that i got stuck
infront of that didnt know any words and just screamed whenever anyone else did and this was only like 10 rows back(it was more than just that but i wont get
into that), but besides that another unbelievable OAR show, wont compare it to 3rd row at the garden on saturday but nothing will, the best thing about the
guys is how they enjoy every night just as much as the rest of their fans do

Yea that setlist looks about right. Overall good experience minus the rain delay and inexperienced concert goers (kids puking, fighting, crowd surfing.) But
that's usually the scene when its general admission. Front row was great in front of Benj. Brett Dennan and his gang were great.O.A.R. Played well as
usual. First couple songs had a ton of energy. Then when Marc went to do the accoustic set he announced he was gonna play Irish Rose but then got pissed for
some reason and said "fuck it we're playing I feel home." The crowd could have been better but it's ok. The venue was nice for it's
location. Met some board members after the show. Caught a few band members after the show in the parking lot also. Jerry and Mikel Paris came out and talked
for a bit in the parking lot.Mikel was cool as usual. Jerry was thanking us for coming. I asked him what he thought of MSG 3 and he said it was the best MSG so
far. He said "I thought we rocked the shit out of it." Great seeing him. Then said what's up to Marc briefly as he drove away in his SUV. He said
what's up and said he's driving down to Maryland to be with the baby. Jerry said Benj isn't feeling to well cause he has the flu. But Benj still
tore it up the entire night.Once again Dennan was great. O.A.R. is getting tighter and tighter. It felt like a show from a couple years ago, mainly because I
was able to meet up with them in the parking lot after the show. I think that's one of the greatest aspects of this band; the fact that they can reach and
level of success yet still have time to say hello and then some to their fans after the show. Marc literally went into Night Shift after Revisited, like with
no pause. Revisited end's on an A which was the same chord that Night Shift starts with, so I thought that was a smooth transition. Other than that nothing
noteworthy of mentioning really. They nailed Something Coming Over. Hey Girl was played during the accoustic set, very similar to the old album version (verse
chorus verse chorus) the band seemed to have a lot of fun with that. They ended the set with Poker. HTW was NOT in the encore. The encore was Dareh 34th 8th
intro,Lay Down, and This Town. That DJ guy was on every song in the encore. It was a nice addition.

Crowd responded well to I Feel Home, Hey Girl, and This Town mainly because of the visuals. It's becoming a regular oocurance to see Paris hanging out
before the show, nothing wrong with it though haha

Yeah the setlist on OARSA is a little off. This is what I had:
1.) Revisited (they played directly into the next song) 2.) Night Shift 3.) Black Rock 4.) Road Outside Columbus 5.) Something Coming Over ---- Marc alone on stage played the first couple cords of Irish Rose, then said forget it lets play I Feel Home 6.) I Feel Home (Marc only for majority of song then Richard joined him on stage at end for solo) 7.) Hey Girl (acoustic) 8.) What is Mine (acoustic) ---- nice freestyle at the end by Marc 9.) On My Way (acoustic for half / plugged in for end) 10.) Shattered 11.) About Mr. Brown 12.) Heard the World 13.) Patiently 14.) War Song 15.) Poker (So Lonely) Encore (all songs w/ DJ Logic) 16.) Dareh Meyod (34th & 8th intro) 17.) Lay Down 18.) This Town Total show time: approx 2 hours "The truth will set you free..." - Alex Rodriquez (2/9/09) |

Overall it was a pretty great set and fun show to be at. I loved that they came out with Revisited/3AM. However I was pretty bummed he didn't play Irish
Rose after called it out. It's one of my favorite less played songs. It would have been a nice spot for it too at the beginning of the acoustic set.
I also wonder if there was someone they were playing tribute to last night since they had both Irish Rose and Patiently in the original setlist. Maybe I am reading to much into it. |

I thought it was a pretty good set. They played longer than i was expecting. They came on a little after 9 and went off a little after 11. The Festival
Pier crowd always kind of sucks, but it was a good show none the less. I actually enjoyed the rain. It felt good because it was so damn hot and humid.

I thought it was a really good show. Glad they played for a long time considering the weather, seemed like they wanted to thank every1 for sticking around. The
highlights for me was definitely was opening with revisited, patiently with a nice freestyle, and THis Town with the awesome pics of the city(loved the pics of
citizens bank park and the phils uniform!) The only thing i hate about Penn's Landing is the crowd, they are ALWAYS terrible!!! Some kid asked if he could
take a piss right in front my g/f and I, WTF is that? and yeah, i kind of noticed Marc's voice wasn't as strong as usual
