I was absolutely obsessed with GI Joe when I was a kid as well... I have mixed feelings about it being live action, rather than cartoon... But I had the same
issue with transformer's and ended up loving that movie so, I'm excited for this one.

Better than I expected it to be. Some of the special effect were a little cheesy but the story line was pretty good imo. I really enjoyed it from a nostalgia
standpoint.

i think rainbow brite would be on a completely different level than josey. especially with burton's twisted mind. josey was just horrible all around.

my point was, pretty much any of our girly childhood toys/cartoons would not translate well to the big screen the same way transformers & gi joe do. we are
better off to just leave them alone.

i was just kidding...but the burton idea is kinda interesting becki. what was that movie about....oh those little bad guys wanted to steal the diamond planet
which would take all the colors from the world. throw a couple of sex scenes in and there ya go.

i have the original rainbow brite & the star stealer on vhs somewhere(recorded off hbo, of course..)
have you seen the "new" rainbow brite & strawberry shortcakes?
