Coke was my drug of choice for a few years, but I've developed my love of wine and only use coke on special occasions.

It's legal to buy spores and grow mushrooms, it's just illegal to dry and sell them, at least that's how it is in Tennessee. I'm not going to go searching for legality issues of mushrooms in a certain state on my work computer, but I'm nearly 100% certain you are wrong. As soon as you start the process of growing the spores into shrooms you are breaking federal law...I can't see how its different in Tennessee than anywhere else. And since they don't need to be dried to be consumed, they are illegal shrooms the second they begin growing. Its possible that you're thinking that shrooms naturally growing outside are 'legal' until you pick and begin to dry them, but then we're talking about completely different situations. I'm assuming they are fairly common in nature in Tennessee... |

Obviously I've looked into it...due to possible legal ramifications I've abstained from growing...but it looks incredibly easy and doesn't require
anymore space than a 5 gallon rubbermaid bin.

Apparently you only need cow shit if you're mass producing them
as I understand it you use mason jars full of a mineral substrate (some sort of gardening product, can't remember the name) and brown rice flour... Those jars are then filled with spores using the spore syringes you ordered... Those jars are then incubated in a rubbermaid bin, after a certain amount of time they root up the jar and you take them out of the jars and allow them to fruit in the bin... Once they grow, pick them at the appropriate time, and allow them to fruit again... those root 'cakes' will fruit a couple times... Apparently one syringe is about $10 and will produce way more shrooms than you'll need to personal use. Again, I won't do it as I don't feel like going to jail for growing them... But I did think about it. |

I was the same way about coke...I always wanted to try it, but figured I'd like it too much if I did...plus, I've seen a couple of lives ruined by it,
so it's definitely not worth my efforts...I generally stick to the softer shit...lately, all I've had has been alcohol...

Psilocybin is a federally scheduled substance. It's (most of) what makes you trip when you eat mushrooms. That is the reason why spores are legal and
shrooms aren't. The spores do not contain psilocybin.

nope can't say that I have at all. Mainly just smoked a few times. But I was already pretty drunk much of the time, so I can't really tell how it affected me. I think I might have to wait to start until after retirement. I get paid too much right now to even risk losing my job. |
