WOOOO!
How were these two shows for anyone that went? And I'm kinda thinking with three pokers on the three live CD's prior that they may put the acoustic version on this live album? |

He mentioned it in the "OAR Street Team News" email that went out this afternoon. I will copy the email if you didn't receive it....
************************ Hey street team members! Thanks for your continued support! We appreciate the time you take to help share our music with others. Well, we just got off the road from an exciting first leg of our summer tour. Starting June 5th with an electric evening at Red Rocks in Morrison, Colorado, the weather and nature of the venue that night left us with chills. Funny thing actually, now that I think of it, we began and ended this tour with crazy weather. Chicago (a show you may be hearing more of, hint hint) Night 2 of 2, our last show of the tour, was almost canceled due to a storm of storms. Our attendees persisted, and their energy made the show happen, of course along with our skilled and keen management team, who provided a safe place to lay it down. I've been digressing a little bit. However the point is this: the tour rocked. So, I wonder what weather is in store for Leg 2? I'll think about that later, because right how we're taking a break...but come August 6th, we're on the road. I think you know what I'm talking about. We're on a break, but well, you're not, because you're helping us out!! Please do whatever you're comfortable with, don't exert yourself too much (no workers comp here I don't think). If you're in school, still go to class. If you have a job, work. But ya know, do what ya can and that's really cool of you. All the best from ....of a revolution. - Benj |

the shows were great but i still would have expected new or rarer songs to make a live cd set list

^ Yeah, I definitely agree with you. I don't think there are too many songs they sang that aren't already on a record, live or in studio. Did they sing
that new song from Twilight? That is the only one I can think of that would have been new.

here are the sets. i'll let you figure it out.
DAY 1 About Mr. Brown Living In The End Right On Time So Moved On Risen Dinner Last Night Tonight Conquering Fools About An Hour Ago I Feel Home & The Wanderer * Shattered (Turn The Car Around) * That Was A Crazy Game Of Poker * On My Way * Black Rock (Bongo Intro) Lay Down War Song This Town Encore: Fool In The Rain $ Love And Memories DAY 2 1 Revisited 2 Night Shift 3 Someone In The Road 4 Whose Chariot? 5 King Of The Thing 6 On Top The Cage 7 Here's To You 8 Untitled 9 Hey Girl 10 What Is Mine 11 Delicate Few 12 City On Down 13 Whatever Happened 14 Get Away 15 Rhythm Of Your Shoes 16 Shattered (Turn The Car Around) 17 That Was A Crazy Game Of Poker And i think its more important to look at what hasnt been on a LIVE cd yet. because if they wanted to play songs that haven't been on a studio release yet...they would put them on a studio release. |

ROYS, Tonight, Revisited, Fool in the Rain, plus all the All Sides songs that havent been on an album...would still of loved to see If Only She Knew, Mr. Moon,
Road Outside Columbus, etc. appear sometime on a live disc.
good sets though, will be interesting to see which songs are chosen for the (probably 18 tracks?) live discs.

The shows were amazing to be at, and I loved the sets for being there, but I don't see how they can make a whole live album from the two shows. No new
songs at all? Just don't see that. I could definitely see it making up a part, or a half, of the new live album. They would have played What in the World
if they were making it just from these two nights. And I agree, poker acoustic will probably be on there.

They did say that after all the All Sides bashing that they probably wouldnt road test as many songs before they are put on an album because everyone liked the
earlier versions better. That could be why they didn't play any unreleased songs that will be on the next studio. I kind of doubt that Tonight and ROYS
will be. I hope Fool in the Rain is on it.

I'm just saying in the past weve seen songs on live albums and never make it to studio and also songs make it on live albums before they make it to studio,

I definitely think the original plan was to have What in the World? on which is why they said it'd be played rain or shine, but for whatever reason they
decided against it.

For the live CD from the two nights, they had a decent amount of "new" songs or changed songs.
About Mr. Brown (new intro), Living In The End, Dinner Last Night, Tonight (never released), The Wanderer, Poker and Shattered all acoustic, War Song and This Town, Revisted, What Is Mine, Whatever Happened and Rhythm Of Your Shoes. Missing a few I figured would be on it (A few songs that didn't make it to the first three live albums, but on records) - Mr. Moon, If Only She Knew, Road Outside Columbus, To Zion Goes I. Other than that though their catalogue has been gone through for the lives shows. "Things may not come when you want them to, but they will be Right On Time"- Marc Roberge |
