Hopefully MSG will serve beer. Jones Beach's no alcohol policy was brutal.

this is bitter-sweet for me. Aug 15 is during my 2wk Resident Assistant training period before college starts. my best "O.A.R. friend" that i met at
a show in Cary texted me this morning and it made my day, then i checked my schedule... this is killing me. If I can fly out for the night, then fly back the
next morning I am totally doing it. I don't care how much it costs for a 2 day round-trip ticket, if it's available I'm totally doing this. Wohoo!

thinking about heading up from Georgia to see this one, end of the tour, O.AR. at MSG, reason to go to NYC. def would be alot of fun
Saw them at Hammerstein and 930 before and both are far better venues than MSG (at least for a good O.A.R show), nothing beats a 2 night stay somewhere. my dream would be a 2 night show at the Tabernacle (this is THE BEST VENUE and if you don't agree more than likely you've never been) def excited about this though. Finally warm enough weather to venture up North again

i've seen o.a.r. at the tabernacle but i still think the variety playhouse is the best venue in atlanta, tabernacle is a close second

I would think the beach show will be out.
It is that Saturday which is a prime slot for them and pretty much the same date they have plaeyd the beach for 3 years straight. I also don't know if they can sell 37,000 tickets in a weekend or two weekends in a close area. I also know there was talk about not allowing them to play there. Last year there were a lot of problems. I have been to over 40 shows and it was far and away the most cops, the most passed out people, the youngest crowd etc. Would it be tits to have Jones Beach Friday and than MSG Saturday, or Jones Beach the Saturday before or after, of course, but that is a lot. ^^good call.... in Cleveland the past 2 years they stopped serving beer after the third or fourth song because of all the kids throwing up on themselves

They stopped serving at Hammerstein #2 before VACO even came on. (underaged) Kids were being wheeled out on stretchers while we were walking in.
