don't care. never see any of the movies nominated for best picture.
i'd love a 'college/young adult oscars' they would honor movies like forgetting sarah marshall, kevin smith flicks, etc. best drug use best sex scene best gratuitous and pointless topless scene best cameo by Neil Patrick Harris |

^ Pitt, Clooney, or Malkovich for best supporting actor (not that they would've won) or Frances McDormand for best supporting actress, she stole the film.
I didn't expect to see it up for best film, but it should have gotten a nod for something.

not better than batman begins??? come on now. i cant even watch batman begins anymore because the dark knight makes it look terrible. but opinions are like
assholes they say. i didnt think dark knight would win an oscar, just thought it would be nominated.
as for burn after reading, yeah i loved it but i didnt think anyone was exceptional. that would be more like a golden globe winner since there is a comedy category. really surprised to see downey jr for tropic thunder

I have nothing wrong with homosexuals and I never saw Brokeback Mountain, however to base someone's body of work on one original film and one remake of a
roll played by other actors is a bit of a stretch. I'm sure he did a fine job in Brokeback and I already said he did a fine job in the Dark Knight, and I
also understand the demographics of his other previously mentioned films, however I don't believe he was as good as they said he was at the Golden Globes.

tropic thunder was a great fucking movie. the cameos (especially by one whacked out scientologist) alone made it worth the price of admission.
heath ledger was solid in the patriot as well. |

has anyone seen Candy with Ledger. Hes a heroin addict. Its alright.
best picture: I have seen all of them but the reader. I agree they all deserve the nomination. I think The Wrester got snubbed for the nomination though. Slumdog will win but i didnt like it as much as the others. Actor: mickey Roarke should win Supporting actor: where is Colin Farrell for In Bruges? He won at the globes and they gave Robert Downey a nom'. Heath will win but i am not sure if he was the best. Original Song: where is the boss' 'The Wrestler'. He won at the Globes. i dont really care about the others. I need to see Waltz With Brashir. Its up for foreign film. check out the trailer if you havent. |
