the problem with giraud now (for the record, i have money split between giraud and lambert) that i didn't have when i bought him is that he hasn't really kept up with lambert. as far as vocals go, lambert by far the best. the type of stuff i thought giraud would be capable of picking up ground he isn't...and that's finding songs that suit him and arranging them in a way that fits him even better. the guy who's doing that right now is kris allen.

as i said before, gokey is this years david archuleta. he's not interesting enough to win. by the round of 7 last year, it was pretty apparent that david cook would crush archuleta heads up. in the next few weeks, gokey should start to show the same weaknesses. i think it's a race between lambert and allen at this point (not saying giraud can't sneak back in but he's got some ground to make up). this year just didn't have a dead-obvious sleeper like david cook last year.

i may still pick up some allen to try to hedge a little. that way, the only way i'll lose money is if gokey wins.

i can't believe how the judges slurp gokey so much. the guy sounded awful last night and besides the ending, it was ridiculously cheesy. the beginning of the song was really creepy sounding. guys got to go.

i wouldn't mind seeing lil rounds go. if i had to bet, i'd say its gonna be scott the blind guy (which is sad, his weirdness is awesome) or anoop. dialidol has lambert as the only person that's safe. not surprising. they should just give him the win now.
