I use my phone a lot at the office, and I'll stay at Mike's for a couple days before going home on the weekends. Thus, I need a charger for each
location. I could probably get away with just having two, but it's more convenient to have an extra one at the office. Having just one is impractical if
you migrate as much as I do.

I needed about 4 or so charges for my blackberry, which worked out nicely since the Mini-USB for a motorolla phone worked 85% of the time. One for the house,
one for the car, one for a bag when I travel, and one next to the bed when I remembered to plug it in.

This is my first ever apple device. So I had to buy something to serve as a second charger.
Perhaps I could have found a better deal on something labeled as an iPod charger, but I think $12 total is a great deal for the cord and the wall adapter. |

you just need the USB cord, which you can get for like $3 shipped from china
i just had like 4 or 5 OEM cords hanging around, so i keep 1 with my work computer and a couple at home. pretty easy |

Hmm. I still think the wall adapter is worth the extra money. Either way, much better than buying it in the store.

i have a ridiculous amount of apple dock cables. i think i've had something like 7 apple devices between my wife and i. plus i have several apple and
generic usb power power chargers for the home and car where you can plug any usb device into it. it's fuckin crazy.

yeah, if i had the iPhone wouldn't need a charger, except for maybe the car. but i don't have too many mini-usb calbe laying around for the blackberry,
plus the blackberry wouldn't charge off the computer.

So my new iphone is here. It told me to charge it fully, and then plug it into my computer with itunes running. I do all that, and it says, "We're
Sorry, We are unable to read your sim card."
I thought these things didn't have sim cardS? Where do I put my old sim card or should a new one have come with? |

In the box there should be a goofy lookin metal thing. use that to open the little compartment on the top of the phone next to the lock button, then put your
sim card in the little thingy and you should be good

actually, you're supposed to use the SIM card that comes with the iphone (at least you're supposed to with previous versions). the activation process
will link the new SIM with your account
however, you can try using your old one - should technically work |

It only worked when I put in the old sim card.
Also, how come even though my old card is in there now, none of my contacts are in there? I hate this! |

you prolly didn't put any of your contact on your old sim. card they were prolly only in the phone.
greg do this. old sim in old phone transfer contacts to sim card. then go to an at&t store and have them transfer everything over. or better yet make an appointment for apple one on one training. your prollu doing things the difficult way and aren't used to makeing things easy yet, the apple way. the other thing is you might have actually gotten a bad sim card it happens. go to apple store genius bar and make an appointment. the othert thing is you might have the older version of itunes? greg you know how to reach me i'll be driving around after 5 tomorrow and can tell you what you need to do if you don't get it figured out. i thought you were a smart guy;)
