Question: Does Plaxico Burress really play in the NFL this season, with his case being postponed until 2010? I wont believe it until i see it, but how does
this case get postponed for almost 2 years? Are they still collecting evidence and witness statements? that takes almost 2 years for pretty much an open and
shut case?
Normal folks would have been on their way to sentencing by now. |

How has it been postponed almost two years, when he shot himself barely 7 months ago?
He 100% plays in the NFL this year, although he'll face some kind of suspension first. Brandon Marshall requests trade. |

The family is getting paid and probably dropped all pressure on the prosecutors. I'm surprised he only got 30 days but given the fact that this case
probably doesn't exist had Stallworth not been drunk, it's definitely not shocking. It sounded like Stallworth cooperated the whole way and the guy
wasn't using the crosswalk and Stallworth recognized him and had enough time signal him.

As a Bear fan, I would love to see Farve as a Viking.
The Stallworth deal is shit just because if you kill someone while driving drunk, you should be charged with something a lot harsher than involuntary vehicle manslaughter. But with how the law is now, that seems to be fine. |

Deadspin had a link to an article/blog post last week that said that Vikings have a signed contract from him already but are possibly waiting to announce it
right before the 4th of July holiday in order to not get as much media attention/scrutiny
