Does Frank Thomas's stock rise even more for being a frist ballot guy now?
And it is kinda funny that he didn't get caught for doing roids, but caught taking a drug that helps your body get over the fact that you did roids. This is the same stuff Jose Conseco got busted with smugling in from Mexico because he was on a hormone therapy treatment to fix his body after the years of roid taking. And Conseco is porved, once again, to be the most knowledgable person (at least the one that talks) about the whole steriod story in baseball.
Greg, I believe I agreed with you on the 80% mark, and if not I should have. But I also seem to remember you and others not agreeing that "greenies" were used for years before steriods. Most notably that Willy Mays took them.
I also agree with Greg in who the fuck cares. Everybody was doing them, and if you weren't, you cheated yourself. I still don't believe Thomas used, but thats not the reason he belongs as a first ballot guy. Just imagine some his numbers though if he did (assuming he didn't). His home run numbers would have easily matched Bonds/McGwire/Sosa's year for year with still having a .290+ BA. But if this stuff is making you sick to your stomach or not wanting to watch baseball, you probably were more a fan of a player/team then the game itself, imo.
