Hey. Welcome to the board.
I am sure it is possible. He has meshed really well. I know many people weren't thrilled with the keys. I was one of those, more for the fact that Richard and Jerry lost some parts but I think he is a good add and will at LEAST be a touring musician for a while, but as far as more than that, 50/50 at best. you know i don't know why they haven't yet...i mean i don't see the band ever getting rid of the keys and he's a solid player so why not make him a permanent addition....who knows, maybe they did already made him an offer and decided not to / turned it down...

MP will never be a member of OAR, theyve had a lot of key players play with them. paris doesnt even add enough to the band IMO to be added, or at least he
doesnt add something unique that any other key player lacked from 02-04ish.

I hope not, I never really cared for him and feel he really doesn't bring that much to their live show. I wouldn't mind if he stopped playing with them

I think Paris' addition to vocals is outstanding...adds another dimension that was not there in the past!
To say his vocals ruin SBD or USB recordings...this is the reason why a lot of us like AUD...the mix isn't made to make a nice SBD recording...a mix is made to suit the room. I believe his vocals are excellent. I noticed immediately at the Pavilion show in Chicago on harmonies of the new songs and turned to JP and gave the thumbs up. The keys add a lot to the performances as well. As for him becoming a member of the band...it may happen in the future, yes...look how long Jerry played with the band before he was made an actual member of the band. |
