Check the list again. It's basically all starters and no bench players. At one point, they had the same name on it twice. Not the list. ...if you feel it, why don't you sing along... |

FLM,
How is Benito a suprise? Perhaps I am just more aware as a Gigantes fan, but how else do you come back from a car crash as bad as he was in and kick so much ass? I get the vibe that everyone not named Jeff Kent was juiced on that 2002 Giants squad, Marvin Bernard included. |

My All-Star Ballot:
AL: C - Mauer (MIN) 1B - Teixeira (NYY) 2B - Kinsler (TEX) 3B - Longoria (TB) SS - Bartlety (TB) OF - Crawford (TB) OF - Hunter (LAA) OF - Bay (BOS) NL: C - Molina (HOU) 1B - Pujols (STL) 2B - Hudson (LAD) 3B - Wright (NYM) SS - Ramirez (FLA) OF - Pence (HOU) OF - Braun (MIL) OF - Ramirez (LAD) - would love to see the steroid story overshadow the game. ...and what a fucking logjam at NL 1B. Obviously Pujols gets the start because he's having a phenomonal year. Any of the following guys could make it as reserves though: Adrian Gonzalez, Prince Fielder, Todd Helton, Lance Berkman, Ryan Howard, Nick Johnson (could be the Nats Rep, though Zimm is more likely). Even guys like Derrek Lee and James Loney have put up numbers that could be all-star calliber in another year or at a different position. And Joey Votto if healthy coulda given the other guys a run for their money.

If any of you DC people go to a Nats game and see a guy wearing a Donkey costume with an Adam Dunn jersey over it that has part of a keystone package attached
to it so it spells "DUNNKEY"...tell my friend Ben I say hi.
