yeah, I was shocked about the Tallon firing/demoting. I thought the guy was doing a pretty solid job. i've read everything from the fact that ownership was
looking for a reason to the Hossa deal to the fuckup tendering offers to their restricted free agents are to blame. who knows.

They only got Scotty Bowman to come to Chicago by promising him that his kid would be GM. They are just using the tender offer fuck up to cover that. Tallon
got a raw deal. He built the whole team. It's a shame, but what can you do? Plus, he was the last person from the old regime.

I called my ticket rep to ask him what happens with the game I pay for that I dont get since the Blues are playing in Sweden this season.....their

Marty Havlat is talking trash about the Hawks to TSN. Saying that Blackhawks President McDonaugh is a "phoney" and that Tallon wanted him back in a
hawks uniform but McDonaugh didn't, so that why he wasn't re-signed. Also said that all the players are behind Tallon.
McDonaugh is seeming more and more like the bad guy here. With the recent moves, I wouldn't be one bit surprised if the Hawks completely ruin the good thing they've been working toward the last few years. |

a genius yes, but a giant douchbag also. I hope they start the season 0-10 and they fire his son
