mt adams is great (keep around that area...hyde park).
Cincy is a fantastic midwest town with tons to do. Unfortunatly, a lot of my friends have decided its a launchpad for Chicago, DC, and Nashville.
downtown is getting a lot nicer (relatively).

Who was it that was playing the washboard with the band at Hofbrauhaus? That was awesome. And the beer I drank tasted like beef jerky...

It was fighty playing the washboard on liam, I think. That or vice versa.
Anyway, I would agree that Mt. Adams would be a great place to look. That or Hyde Park, which is likely where I'll move when I'm heading back to Cincinnati. |

yeah in terms of sports, i'm moving from a city with great, respectful fans with two pretty cool teams that are fun to root for to a city with two terrible
teams with terrible fans.
i'll definitely look in the mount adams area. seems to be the consensus pick. i thought about living downtown, but i worry about price (don't want a condo), parking, noise, and crime. |

plus side of the sports thing: both stadiums are really cool. i love Great American Ballpark. and if you ever want to see a good team that comes to play the
Reds or Bengals, you can easily get a ticket to that game...and its not terribly expensive. the fans are actually not terrible here though as far as what
i've seen in comparison to others.
there's virtually no crime in DOWNTOWN downtown cincinnati. but that is a very small area, and you would most likely be living in a condo or apartment complex if you wanted to live in that area. prices will probably be higher though out of the convenience, but should include parking (that never seems to be a problem in downtown.) And there's not really any living spaces in downtown that i would consider to be noisy. Most of the noise is around 7th street - and i dont think there's much housing there - its just like a strip of like 6 bars. |

just stay away from over the rhine, obviously. but besides that, this will be a great year to move to cincy since the bengals will be much improved this year
(i'm predicting playoffs). the reds are .500 but who knows how long that will last, so you'll be able to enjoy great american ball park without many
people there. the fans really aren't that bad either, however you will run into a LOT of ohio state fans which will probably annoy you after a while

reds/bengals fans are harmless. i don't think any city's sports fans are terrible. Only when they come to your stadium and wreak havoc (stillers). |

I don't know any cowboy fans.
I did find out recently that our old black suburban has been decked out in stillers gear and stickers after we sold it. The guy apparently turned it into a tailgating machine. fucker. |
