I'm headed up to Montreal this weekend for the jazz festival. I'm not really that into jazz but 75% of the shows are free, a million people go, and of
course the drinking age is 18. I'm somewhat familiar with the city but not in terms of good bars/clubs/places to eat. Is there anyone who is familiar with
the city that has any recommendations?

seriously, if you don't speak french, expect to get hosed on pretty much everything. the strip clubs are awesome, though. $10 CAD lap dances where you can
use your imagination

I had a blast there. Then again I speak French and enjoy weirdos. Quebec City is somewhat close and very cool as well. Less metropolitan.
