well, because MTV used to stand for Music Televsion. That was the point. Lifetime doesn't show football, and ESPN doesn't show movies about women getting beat on starring Meredith Baxter Bernie. So...that's why people get up in arms. It has basically nothing to do with music anymore. They could change the name of the network, I suppose. MTV is pretty much branded for the young demo and they're going to program their station accordingly. They'd be retarded to change their name and if they get better ratings showing True Life's instead of 3oh3 videos, that's what they're going to do. Anyone who gets "up in arms" over MTV programming should probably rethink their lives. |

Apparently I can't drink in the sun. I had a pina colada, half a margarita and some enchiladas yesterday, then promptly went home and barfed. Not fun. It
was hot, but not super hot and I was drinking water, so I don't know what happened.

I do tend to post about my barfing experiences a lot...
After my puking session, I passed out around 6:30pm and slept for 2 hours, then I couldn't fall asleep at my regular time. So I whipped up a lasagna to bake tonight and watched Pirates of the Caribbean (the first one). I finally went to bed around 1am and now I'm super tired. |

I got BAD altitude sickness my first night in Denver, and during our hike in Rocky Mountain National Park, I started to get a little sick towards the end, but
then we started descending. For some reason, I am really susceptible to Alt sickness. The first couple hours are fine, but about 6 hours after exposure I'm
hurting something awful. It takes a whole night of sleep before I'm adjusted, and even then, I'm not 100%.

Robert Randolph and the family band was amazing at summerfest tonight. Played 3 MJ covers. The highlight for me was a 10 minute jam that was a mix of I Need More Love and Dont Stop Till You Get Enough
