technically, selling these is against united's T&C. i'm not saying that people get caught
very often, but i have heard of a few 1Ks having their accounts cancelled for selling SWUs. if united suspects anything, they could ask the person being
sponsored for your name or phone number at the airport.

that would be the dumbest decision ever if they actually cancelled 1Ks over this. lose a lifetime customer just because they made a few bucks off of something
they earned

I don't know if it is B.S. or not, but I heard they pulled 1K status, all mileage earned and all upgrade vouchers were deleted and they were not allowed to
fly United.
I could imagine the first two happening, but not the third. But if my status, mileage and upgrades were taken away, I would never fly them again anyway...I have American here as well. |

i'm a million miler on continental and i'm GS on united. i obviously fly a shit load and am loyal to those 2 airlines only right now. if one of them
pulled that shit, i'd drop them in a heartbeat
