i usually take blockbuster movie bashing on here with a grain of salt and go to the theater anyway. I think I'll actually listen this time and just rent
it. Most of my friends went to the midnight showing anyway, so I doubt I'll find anyone who wants to go even if I tried. thanks for the warnings.

those who saw it last night has definitely helped make up my mind that i'll wait for dvd or hbo

It wasn't that bad. It's still a movie based on toy cars that turn into machines. People went in expecting too much.
The story had a lot of holes, and the comedy was very forced at times, and it didn't hold up compared to the first movie. But I don't think it was horrible by any means. It's still worth seeing it in the theaters because the action is SIC, and the experience of seeing that in a theater compared to in your home is well worth the money. Overall, sure, I'm a little disappointed, but I still enjoyed it overall, and will probably still spend the money to go to the Imax and see it again. 6/10. |

I felt they were unnecessary to the movie, and every seen they were in was very forced, and overly corny.
But, I won't lie, I laughed at some things they said, especially the "pussy" line. |
