Posts: 1190 06/17/2009 1:25 PM	I lliked the Local 2 personally, but I am more of a fan of the Local 1. I think they are both a bit over priced for what they are but the one is always a go to refreshing summer beer for me. The Local 2 is more of a typical belgian strong. I feel like where as the one has a unique semi pils, yet somewhat belgian feel but you still get that hefe bananna taste a bit, the 2 really doesn't expand much on the style. I only had it once though, so maybe my mind will change with a 2nd try.

Posts: 95 06/17/2009 4:08 PM	Looks like you're all set for the summer. A local bar just got Stone Ruination on tap and after having it in bottles plenty of times, it is soooo freakin good on tap. By far one of my favorite double IPA's.

Tomorrow is the Harrisburg brewfest with which they do the vast majority of the organizational stuff. I can't say one way or the other, but I wouldn't be surprised if they shut down for the day. I am however looking forward to checking out teh 20 at the fest tomorrow.

If you're interested send me a PM and I'll give you my number. If you come all I ask is that you stop by the fest (Less than 2 miles from the brewery) and pick up my growler, and return it when you come back to enjoy the fest filled with scratch 20 as I probably won't get the chance to stop over.

I was able to grab one of the few cases there. Putting a bit away for later. While down there I also stopped at Appalachian Brewing for lunch. First time I had their stuff. Was pretty good.

I did get to try scratch 20, but didn't make it over to the brewery to grab any bottles/fill my growler. I'll probably just grab a few bottles at Capones. It was good though from what Iremember although my taste buds were a bit shot til then.

I'm getting these mostly by luck, I frequently get reimbursed here for doing personal work by cases of beer. A hot-shot client of ours owed me, and his son is on his way back from a Belgian vacation with two bottles for me.
