i was prepared for this movie to not live up to the hype however i still found it hilarious. we've been quoting it since we stepped out of the theater.

Did not find this movie all that funny. I thought I Love You Man, Old School, etc. were way funnier.
Random side note: Writer for this movie, as well as Old School, Road Trip, Heartbreak Kid, and Semi-Pro....his parents are attending the wedding. I want them to get me a connection with Will Ferrell. edit: also, according to IMDB, he's working on the Hangover 2. nice. Noelle nchittick1@yahoo.com

I didn't say I disliked the movie, I said I didn't find it all that funny. Somewhat funny, yes, but since Hangover has gotten such high regards, I
suppose Hangover 2 will more than likely be well-received.

Went to see a sneak peak of Year One tonight, fucking promoters allowed too many free tickets to be distributed so we didn't get to see it and went into
Hangover instead and also got a certificate to see another movie for free.

Awesome movie. unpredictable what you're in for if you've only seen a preview or even if you've heard a little more about it. and somehow i was
drawn to see this movie even without really seeing much publicity about it first. i just knew somehow it was going to be great. casting and special appearances
(even if they were only photos in the credits) were hilarious.
Dont really see the need to do comparisons, but i did really enjoy I Love You, Man as well. Not at all the same type of movie or even comedic style to me. One thing about both of those movies though, is that I wanted to see them both again really soon after i got out the first time. I might go see Hangover again since my friend is in India right now and will be back in a few weeks - he said they don't have it there - ha. |

They always give out more tickets than there are seats for a sneak preview. I bet if you had been early/on time, you'd have made it. I've never had an
issue.
