Never was never into DMB, untill I heard the DMB radio on Sirius for the past few days. Now for someone who just starting to like them, what DVD/Live CD would you suggest to buy?

central park dvd is great start!
if you want to progress through the phases: listener supported - > central park - > piedmont but Central Park is a good mix of older and somewhat newer (up till about 2003) |

Central Park is when they started to get stagnant for me, with the exception of that 'Cortez, The Killer.' Absolutely sick.
Folsom Fields was always one of my favorites. Maybe it had to do with it being one of the first live album of theirs that I really got into. It's got some of my favorite versions of JTR and Bartender on it. Red Rocks '95 is and always will be a classic. edit: Stay FAR away from the Folsom Fields DVD though. Terribly edited. I got nauseous while watching it with the quick editing. |

i cant believe only one person said red rocks. red rocks is amazing. it doesnt have anything new on it but it is their best live album. as for new stuff the
mile high music fest album is good. it has cornbread, sledgehammer and eh hee as well.

Wow, I have never heard of anyone hating this song. It's the only reason I ever listen to this show anymore. |

Central Park Concert is best for a newer fan, as the only prolonged jams that might be a turn-off are in Two Step and Jimi Thing.Everything else is around 5-10
minutes. Plus Don't Drink The Water is at its best ever as the opener.

I love Red Rocks, not sure it's the best for someone who's a "new fan". It depends on what you heard Sirius. If its the old classic stuff Red
Rocks 95 is the way to go. Otherwise Weekend on the Rocks was pretty cool or I'd just out the latest Live Trax (15) or Live Trax 6.

I think it's not too bad. But my main thinking was that it had the most "up to date" sound of DMB for a new fan.
