Pirates trade Nate McLouth
I love the cycle the Pirates are in. They get a tradable asset, trade him for 3 prospects. One of the prospects pans out, they get him for 1 or 2 good seasons and then he becomes a tradable asset and the cycle repeats. They'll never put a relatively decent team doing that. It's just a constant cycle of futility. They might be the worst franchise in all of sports. Their streak of most losing seasons ever in baseball is pathetic. They haven't had a winning season since I was 11. Forget the playoffs...they couldn't even manage to get to 82 wins ONCE is 17 years. Cue the Onion article of PNC Park threatening to leave Pittsburgh. |

I know one thing, if I had that kids abilities when I was 16 and I was getting this kind of attention, not only would I be riding a high horse and be a
legitimate d-bag, I'd be slaying underage ass left and right while I still can and dabbling in interested mature women ala Bull Durham, making friends with
Matt Leinart and Paris Hilton, and would have Scott Boras as my #1 on my cell phone. Enjoy the ride kid, hopefully you will be an asset on my fantasy team in

I still don't get it. What is he doing that is so douchey? Putting his bat down and picking up dirt? I still don't see the problem. It's no worse
than Garciaparra taking a half hour after every pitch to adjust his batting gloves and the whole schtick he goes through.
