The 'So Damn Lucky' was tits.
thumbs down to the Halloween chant. After reading that article that someone posted on the board a couple years ago it pisses me off that DMB fans expect/chant for songs. Shows are about what the artist wants to play. If they play halloween they okay. But don't try to run the band. |

opened up my usa today this morning, and there is a nice article on the band on the front of the 'life' section.

it really sucks that it took losing one of the key members of the band for them to get back to playing great music again.
both Reynolds and Coffin bring so much. i'm wishing i hadn't skipped Nashville now, but i couldn't be two places on the same weekend. |

probably. one offs here and there and in the winter.
I think what's really special is that it seems like Roi kept this band together in last year or so by being the glue reminding them of their friendships, music, and appreciation for each other....most likely preventing a breakup or hiatus. and subsequently getting them to this point. really bittersweet. like he did his job and now he's gone. that's the gist of what the interviews/dave's comments sound like. |

"squirm" is my favorite track after a few listens.
mix some led zeppelin + some rusted root + leftovers from The Last Stop = this fucking awesome track. |

Yeah doozer, you fucked up. That Nashville show was the best I've ever seen them.
I agree, it sucks that it took a death to get them back on track. LeRoi had his moments and did some great things but Coffin add so much energy as well as Tim. Like I said before I'm so glad Butch Taylor is gone. I thought he held them back so much. You look back now and the past 5 years or so they have been really bad compared to this year. |

Butch was only key for a few songs with AB Intro being one of them.
I'm really digging this album and can't wait for StarLake! So far "Shake Me Like A Monkey" and "Time Bomb" are my favorites. |

When Butch played only to fill out the songs a bit, he was a great asset. It was only when he'd take over songs that his presence was a problem.
