i always like hearing that the Lakers lose. i said it in this thread already, but with LeBron James playing how he is, i dont see how they dont win the title.
They have been far and away the most dominant team this post season. and after a brutal 7-game series between Orlando/Boston, the Cavs will be fully rested
after they sweep the Hawks.

According to a report at Orlando Sentinel.com, Provetti sent an e-mail to the NBA League office this morning, saying that Davis crossed the line and embarrassed his son. Provetti said his son had to dive into his courtside seat to get out of the way, though that does not appear to be the case in the video. In the e-mail, Provetti said Davis conducted himself like a "raging animal with no regard for fans' personal safety." In a telephone interview with the Sentinel, Provetti said, "How do you like to be a 12-year-old and see a raging lunatic coming at you?" He said noted that Davis should never have been so close to the fans in the front row. "The NBA makes it clear [that players are not to] cross the sideline. If I cross that line, the NBA will take away my tickets. It's a double standard." Provetti, a New Jersey native who moved to Orlando a year ago according to the Sentinel report, said he used to be a Celtics fan because he enjoyed watching Boston coach Doc Rivers when he played for the Knicks. ...if you feel it, why don't you sing along... |

I think this guy is making a mountain out of a mole hill but lets call it what it was....big baby stormin down the sidelines like a crazy man...all 350+ lbs.
If the ref wouldn't have side stepped him and got out of the way he'd have a broken hip or something. I can't say that I would have reacted
differently if I made the game winning shot but i can't kill someone by sitting on them.

Yeah, because that makes a lot of sense. And the real kicker: Provetti used to be a Celtics fan. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go pour a hot cup of coffee on my groin and blame it on Kevin Garnett(notes). His mannerisms make me jumpy, you see.
