I liked Star Trek: The Next Generation. wasn't into the first ones as much, and the only star trek movie I remember seeing was the one where Spock pulls a jesus and comes back from the dead. |

rumor has it that this movie is already an epic fail. abrhams and paramount have been fighting non stop, it has been pushed back multiple times and is way
over-budget. likewise, it's also testing very poorly with star trek fans, so we shall see.

i've never seen a minute of Star Trek either. It's similar to how i am with the Simpson's. I've only ever seen one episode of the
Simpson's, the one where Bart is in his tree house and standing over the pool and some body goes "your epidermis is showing" and Bart freaks out
and falls off the tree house or something. That's it.
JJ Abrams also did Cloverfield, which i thought was solid, although over-hyped. |

with simon pegg as scotty, laughs should be expected. gonna see this tomorrow at 5 dollar movie day. glad no one has said its a turd yet
