despite the fact i work for WB, we don't have international rights on this, so i don't get to do much on this feature.

Isn't another film company suing (and winning) because they actually have the rights or something? If they win their suit, the movie may never be released.

from what ive read, warner has the rights but fox(i might have the studios mixed up) made the movie. The judge told the studios to come to an agreement but
warner has released that they will not settle with fox. basically to me this means that the movie might get pushed back from its March 6th release.

Fox had the rights up until WB got the rights to DC Comics. Fox are a bunch of whiney babbies because they got crushed this year and they want a movie they
think will get them money. I don't think they will win this because Watchmen is technically a DC Comic. It will most likely delay the release of the movie,
which sucks because I think the movie will be great.

Actually, I joined about two years before that when Haz and Kraut introduced me to the site pre-gaming before an OAR show at my apartment. This was all way before you came on here lying about some paper that never existed from some busted ass community college. Unlike you, I don't post 10 times a day telling anyone and everyone one of two things: 1)You live in California 2) You work "In Hollywood" No one cares about either of these things and I get tired of reading them in your lame posts. edited for spelling.

I wonder if they're going to keep all the 80s cold-war stuff or try to "update" it and basically ruin the movie.

Plot synopsis from IMDB:
"Watchmen" is set in an alternate 1985 America in which costumed superheroes are part of the fabric of everyday society, and the "Doomsday Clock" - which charts the USA's tension with the Soviet Union - is permanently set at five minutes to midnight. When one of his former colleagues is murdered, the washed up but no less determined masked vigilante Rorschach sets out to uncover a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes. As he reconnects with his former crime-fighting legion - a ragtag group of retired superheroes, only one of whom has true powers - Rorschach glimpses a wide-ranging and disturbing conspiracy with links to their shared past and catastrophic consequences for the future. Their mission is to watch over humanity... but who is watching the Watchmen?"
