        <![CDATA[ So now that I&#39;ve finally graduated from college, I&#39;m on the hunt for a new job. I like the academic administration thing, so I&#39;ve been applying
mostly to positions in that field. I&#39;ve applied to three jobs at my current university and am planning to do a follow up letter to check on the status of
my resume. Our HR is renowned for its inability to keep track of resumes, so I figure contacting them will improve my chances by forcing them to pull it up and
confirm receipt.

i typed out a response, then realized i really dont know what the fuck i am talking about. My buddy has been looking for a job for the last 5 months, but he
has no idea what he wants to do. At least you have a firm idea of what type of work you want to do and are applying for jobs that meet your wants...

			<description><![CDATA[ i don&#39;t know if there is actually a given protocol, so i&#39;m not 100% sure of an answer. i assume you sent 3 separate to HR, hoping that at least 1 goes
to the hiring manager?

in any case, i&#39;d probably suggest sending a follow up letter to the hiring manager giving a heads up that you feel you&#39;d be a good fit for all 3 of the
jobs (but clearly state your preference). that way, he can at least be on the lookout when your resume makes it through the official process. ]]></description>
