Like everybody else has said, I strongly suggest sending Marc or one of the guys a twitter message because they often do respond to various people then send them a tweet on it. I hope it works out for you & i'm so sorry for your loss.

very sorry that sounds like a tough situation to go through for both of you

In reguards to Patiently, everyone in the band seems pretty good hearted and they do browse through here a good amount it seems like...

Also someone requested this song in simialr circumstances back in July and they dedicated it to the in the encore so I'd say your chances are good. Good luck!

O.A.R. has a concert in St. Louis, MO next Wed. June 10th, which I am attending. That is also the two year anniversery of one of my best friends (an ex-girlfriend) dying due to an
eating disorder. I am trying to find out the best way to request that the band play "patiently" at their concert in St. Louis as that is the anniversery of her death. That song has helped me through some tough times in dealing with her death. If you want the detailled version you can read...
