i think they expected people who went to see the movie had read the book because they didn't really explain much. i was lost during the movie.

the watchmans voice was annoying kinda like batmans. and there was unneccessary sex scenes seriously... probably trying to distract people from realizing how crappy the movie was.

Saw it tonight. I've read the graphic novel and still enjoyed the movie.

I thought the use of some of the music was a bit strange. Hallelujah during the sex scene. Really?

Visually it was very well done. It didn't seem long at all to me. I could've watched that movie for another hour if they had wanted me to.

As mentioned in the Coheed and Cambria thread, I'm glad that they finally got their due. I got a clay animation preview for "9" and Welcome Home was the soundtrack song.

This might be considered blasphemy, but I actually enjoyed the ending of the film better than the graphic novel. I'm a big fan of the novel, but I always felt the squid / alien surprise seemed too far fetched to unite the world. But a common known enemy in Dr. Manhattan seems more plausible (if there is such a thing in a comic book).

That being said the movie had its flaws. The actor playing the new Nite Owl cheesed it up a bit too much. But overall, I'm not sure...

i didnt read the book and actually went in a little pessimistic about liking it. I thought it was a good movie, not great, but entertaining, 7/10. Having not read the book, i thought it did get kind of jumbled and a little confusing at times, but not overly so. still dont understand the doomsday clock thing.

i thought chick in the movie was hot. i laughed out loud when that flame shot out of the space ship. i liked the sound track; bob dylan at the beginning was completely...

i enjoyed it, thought it was better than I anticipated. i do agree with the too much cock comments, i mean seriously, its like every time you see blue dude walking

movie was entertaining, didn't even seem like it was nearly 3 hours to me.....i have never read the graphic novels, so have nothing to compare it to

also, saw it at 10:00, run time just under 3 hours...movie was over just before 1:00 AM....WHO THE FUCK TAKES AN CHILD, NO OLDER THAN 3, TO SEE THIS MOVIE AT...

What I hated about this movie:
- What the fuck was a methed-out clay aiken doing in this movie... Rorshack (sp) was pretty cool
- Too much man ass
- Too much blue ding-dong
- 2.5 hours to get to the ending

What I liked about this movie:
- It ended (it took me a while to find something I liked)
